The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
The promotion is open to both new and existing Shepherd Neame customers and subscribers, subject to these terms and conditions.
Employees of Shepherd Neame Limited, their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
Promotional Period
The prize draw opens on 4 November 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 10 November 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
How to Enter
To enter the prize draw, customers must complete and submit the designated online sign-up form during the promotional period.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Entry is available to both new and existing subscribers. Existing subscribers may enter using the same sign-up form and will not be excluded solely because they have previously signed up to receive communications from Shepherd Neame.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Incomplete, invalid or duplicate entries may be rejected.
There is no charge to enter the prize draw other than the entrant's usual cost of accessing the internet.
The Prize
There is one prize available.
The winner will receive a sharing roast chicken for up to four people at one of the participating Shepherd Neame pubs listed below:

Botany Bay, Broadstairs
Dog & Bear, Lenham
George Hotel, Cranbrook
Ship & Trades, Chatham
Sun Inn, Faversham
The winner may choose their preferred participating venue, subject to availability.
The prize may be redeemed on any Sunday between 8 November 2026 and 13 December 2026, inclusive, subject to availability.
Advance booking is required.
The prize is limited to the sharing roast chicken for up to four people. Any additional food, drinks or other items ordered during the visit must be paid for separately.
The prize has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred, exchanged or resold.
Winner Selection
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date.
The ASA/CAP describes a traditional prize draw as one where the winner is chosen at random from all valid entries and says promoters must ensure the promotion is administered properly.
The winner will be selected following the close of the promotion on 11 November 2026.
The winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied on the entry form.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within a reasonable period, is ineligible or is otherwise unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.
Prize Redemption
The prize may be redeemed at one of the following participating pubs:

General Terms
Participation in the prize draw constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries where it reasonably believes there has been fraud, abuse, manipulation or a breach of these terms.
The Promoter will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not successfully submitted due to technical or connectivity issues.
If circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the promotion, while seeking to minimise disappointment to participants.
The Promoter's decision regarding the administration of the promotion is final.
Data Protection and Marketing
Personal information provided in connection with the prize draw will be used to administer the promotion, including contacting the winner.
Where an entrant separately consents to receive marketing communications from Shepherd Neame Limited, their information may also be used for those purposes in accordance with the Shepherd Neame Privacy Policy.
Entering the prize draw should not be conditional upon consenting to receive marketing communications unless this has been specifically reviewed and approved as part of the promotion mechanics.
Entrants who are already subscribed to Shepherd Neame marketing communications remain eligible to enter the prize draw.
Governing Law
This promotion and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

- This Promotion is only open to legal residents of United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Shepherd Neame Limited, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion. Proof of age will be requested.
- Promotion Period: The promotion will run from 00:00 2 November 2026 to 00:00 17 May 2027.
- Any entry received after the Promotion Period shall be automatically disqualified from the Promotion. The Promoter is not liable for any lost, delayed or misdirected Entries (as defined in paragraph 21 below).

- Prizes are as stated and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. There is no cash alternative.
- Prizes will be arranged by email between the Promoter and the winner. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to provide the winner with details of the Prize at the earliest possible opportunity.
- Winners will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against the Promoter if the holiday or any other event forming part of the Prize is delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
- For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include transportation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, taxes or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
- Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or their guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or their guest acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in the Prize being retracted.
- All elements of the Prize package must be taken as part of the same trip.
- It is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to check any travel advisories issued by the Government. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any winner or their guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories.
- A Prize Draw of all valid entries will be conducted by 28 May 2027.
- Winner Notification: Provisional winner will be contacted via their email address provided on entry within 2 working days of Winner Selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winner. Once eligibility has been confirmed, a provisional winner will be confirmed as a winner. If a provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winner may have less time to respond.
- Prize Acceptance: Notification to arrange fulfilment of a Prize will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the Prize. In the unlikely event that a winner has not received communication to arrange their Prize, the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing [email protected]. If a winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize at its sole discretion.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes for an alternative of equal or greater value.
- Competition entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the associated promotional material.
- All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any Prize award will be void.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to the winner for any loss or damage whatsoever caused (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the Prize draw and Prize, provided that nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or any other liability which cannot be limited by law.
- No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
- Winner may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the promotion.
- If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
- If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

This offer entitles the holder to one complimentary eligible drink at the East India Arms, 67 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 4BR.
Eligible drinks are:
- 175ml glass of house wine

Festive Bookings 2026
Deposits & payments
To confirm a Christmas booking (including Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve), we require a minimum deposit of £10 per person. This secures your booking and will be redeemed against your final bill on the day of your event. Deposits can be paid online by card or via BACS transfer.
Cancellations (excluding Christmas Day)
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible.
Please note that any deposits paid, or pre-authorisations taken, are non-refundable if cancellations are made within:
- 7 days of the booking date for standard table bookings
- 14 days of the booking date for larger Christmas party bookings of 10 guests or more
For Christmas dining bookings, cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may incur the full menu charge at the discretion of the venue.
Pre-orders & menu choices
Due to the busy festive period, we require full pre-orders for all dining bookings at least 72 hours prior to the booking date. Guest names must be provided alongside their menu choices.
For bookings made within 72 hours of the event, or where pre-orders have not been submitted within the required timeframe, we may be unable to guarantee all menu choices, although every effort will be made to accommodate requests.
Christmas Day & New Year's Eve
Following payment of the initial deposit:
- Christmas Day bookings require full payment by Monday, November 30, 2026
- New Year’s Eve bookings require full payment by Thursday, December 17, 2026
All payments for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Number reductions
Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to the booking date. Any reductions in numbers after this point may still be charged in full.
Menu availability
We work closely with trusted suppliers to provide the best seasonal ingredients throughout the festive period. However, due to occasional supply challenges outside of our control, some menu items may need to be amended or substituted. Where necessary, suitable alternatives of equal quality and value will always be offered.
This set menu is a promotional offer. Privilege Card discounts and any other discounts cannot be used in conjunction with this offer..
