Independent family brewer Shepherd Neame has been named Supreme Champion Family Business of the Year at the National Family Business of the Year Awards 2026.

The Spitfire at Kings Hill was named Pub of the Year in the annual Shepherd Neame Pub Awards, held at Canterbury Rugby Club on Wednesday (May 20).

Beers by Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, have been recognised with medals at three prestigious competitions.

Independent family brewer and pub company Shepherd Neame was named Best Partnership Pub Company (up to 500 sites) at the Publican Awards 2024.

Shepherd Neame was named Best Tenanted & Leased Pub Company (up to 500 sites) at the Publican Awards on Wednesday, 4th March. We were also a finalist in the Best Food Offer category at the awards, held annually to celebrate excellence across the pub and bar industry.
